Fallston is semi-rural Harford County, with farms and quiet subdivisions spread along MD-152 between the Little Gunpowder Falls and Winters Run, and most houses on wells and septic. Many were built from the 1950s to the 1970s and are getting new kitchens, baths and basements. MAC Dumpsters sends a 15 yard at $450 for those updates, and a 20 yard at $550 with 3 tons for outbuildings and land clearing. Both include 14 days and no delivery fee. Fallston is on our list of Harford County towns.
MAC Dumpsters, a locally owned company run by Adam and Tara Graf from our yard at 1112 Middle River Rd in Middle River, MD. Adam runs operations and the truck, and Tara runs the office. Since 2023 we've delivered 10, 15 and 20 yard roll-offs to Fallston, the rest of Harford County, Baltimore City, and Baltimore and Anne Arundel counties. Google reviewers rate us 5.0.

Book onlineNo, MAC Dumpsters keeps containers off septic tanks and drain fields in Fallston, because a loaded 20 yard with up to 3 tons of debris puts heavy weight on the ground. Many Fallston houses along MD-152 run on a well and septic, so pick the driveway or firm ground well away from the tank, the field and the well head.
Not sure where the lines run? Check your property survey or septic records before you book, and call if the only open ground is near the field.
MD-152 is Fallston's main road, running from the I-95 interchange near Joppa northwest toward Jarrettsville. Houses along it and the side roads off it sit on big lots, many with long driveways, detached garages and sheds.
The original community of Fallston is on Old Fallston Road, just southwest of MD-152. Brick colonials and ranchers from the 1950s and 1960s line the roads around it.
Farther northwest, MD-165 crosses MD-152 at Upper Crossroads. Out here the lots get larger and more rural, with fields, outbuildings and houses set back from the road.
Harford Road (MD-147) and Belair Road (US-1) cross the south side of Fallston toward the Little Gunpowder Falls, which forms the county line. Wooded lots along the river valley drop limbs and trees every storm season.
The 15 yard leads in Fallston because the most common job is updating a house built in the 1950s, 1960s or 1970s. The 20 yard takes over outside, for outbuildings, land clearing and whole-property cleanouts. The 10 yard handles a single shed or a garage.
The 15 yard dumpster holds about six pickup loads with 2 tons for $450. That fits a kitchen and a bath in a 1960s colonial, or a finished basement coming out to the studs.
The 20 yard container holds about eight pickup loads with 3 tons for $550. A detached garage, an old shed or an acre of brush and stumps fits here, and a full container can be switched out at the same price.
The 10 yard roll-off holds about four pickup loads with 1.5 tons for $375. It covers a single shed, a garage or a one-room job.
Estimates assume standard 33-gallon trash bags and a full-size pickup bed loaded level with the sides. Actual capacity depends on the material and how it's loaded. Included tonnage applies no matter how full the dumpster looks, and weight over it is billed per ton.
A 20 yard from MAC Dumpsters clears most Fallston outbuildings, with about eight pickup loads and 3 tons included for $550. Old lumber, fencing, broken equipment and stored furniture from a detached garage or shed off MD-152 are bulky and heavy at once. Tires go in at $15 each, and motor oil and fuel stay out.
If the outbuilding and the house are both being cleared, a switch-out at the same price with fresh tonnage usually covers it.
Original kitchens, 1970s baths and paneled basements are coming out across Fallston. Our residential dumpster rental page covers loading a remodel so the heavy debris goes in first.
Big lots mean overgrown fence lines, brush piles and stumps. They all go in, and stumps and sod are heavy, so any weight over the included tons is $125 per ton. Our yard waste dumpster page explains how to load them. Loose dirt stays out.
Decades of storage fill a detached garage or a barn: old boards, broken equipment, furniture and tires. It's a mixed load, bulky and heavy at once, and a good fit for the 20 yard.
A roof tear-off is sized by the square. Our roofing dumpster page shows how many squares each size takes before overage.
Keep the container off the septic tank, the drain field and the well head. The driveway is usually the safest spot, and a gravel pad works too.
We can set a container on any surface, so the driveway, the lawn or the ground by the barn all work. Put it close to where you'll load the most, because a long carry adds up over 14 days. After heavy rain, pick firm ground over a soft lawn.
Old trees line a lot of Fallston driveways. Look up for low limbs and wires where the container will go, and call if it's tight. Our placement and clearance guide covers what to check, and our guide to dumpster permits applies if it ever has to sit on a county road.
A junk removal crew loads and hauls your items for you, and MAC Dumpsters doesn't offer that labor in Fallston. What we do is deliver a roll-off, give you 14 days to load it yourself and haul it away, starting at $375 for a 10 yard. On a big MD-152 property, that lets you clear at your own pace.
We don't load the container, and we don't send a crew. Our driver drops it off and picks it up when you text us that it's full.
Tell us where the tank and the field are, and we'll place the container away from them. That's one conversation, before the truck arrives.
A Fallston property doesn't get cleared in a weekend. Two weeks on site lets you work the house first and the outbuildings after.
Fallston pays the same price as a house in Middle River. There's no delivery fee, trip charge or fuel surcharge.
Exactly what I was looking for. Adam was very nice and professional. Great price, easy drop-off and pick-up.

MAC Dumpsters isn't a junk removal crew in Fallston, but you're welcome to tip our driver if you'd like. It's never required or added to the bill. Your rental price, like $450 for a 15 yard with 2 tons, covers delivery to your MD-152 driveway and pickup.
Yes, MAC Dumpsters delivers to Upper Crossroads and the rest of Fallston along MD-152 and MD-165, with no delivery fee. Lots out here are big, so a 20 yard at $550 with 3 tons suits outbuilding and land-clearing jobs. Keep it off the septic field and well head when you pick the spot.
Yes, MAC Dumpsters rents landscape dumpsters across Fallston for brush, limbs, stumps, sod and old fencing. A 20 yard at $550 includes 3 tons, which matters because stumps and sod are heavy, and anything over is $125 per ton. Loose dirt can't go in, but soil still on the roots is fine.
Pick your size and delivery day online, and tell us where the well and septic are. For a big property, an outbuilding or a long driveway, call (410) 205-5330 and we'll help you pick the size and the spot.
