MAC Dumpsters rents construction dumpsters to contractors, remodelers and owner-builders across Baltimore City and Baltimore, Harford and Anne Arundel counties. Most jobsites run on a 15 yard at $450 or a 20 yard at $550, with 2 or 3 tons, 14 days and no delivery fee. Every container comes from the yard of a locally owned roll-off dumpster service in Middle River, and a full one gets switched out at the rental price.
MAC Dumpsters is an owner-operated roll-off hauler in Middle River, MD, founded in 2023 by Adam and Tara Graf. 20 yard $550 includes 3 tons
Book onlineBy EPA estimates, a full load of mixed construction debris weighs 2.1 to 2.4 tons in a 10 yard, 3.1 to 3.6 tons in a 15 yard and 4.2 to 4.8 tons in a 20 yard. That's more than each size includes at MAC Dumpsters: 1.5, 2 and 3 tons. So a construction container packed to the top usually carries some overage, at $125 per ton.
Construction debris is the building itself, coming apart or going up. Tear-outs send out drywall, plaster, framing lumber, subfloor, cabinets, trim, doors, windows and flooring. New work leaves offcuts, broken sheet goods, packaging and scrap. It's dense, it's awkward, and it fills the container in the order the job runs.
Jobs that fill a construction dumpster:
For construction work, we size two ways at once: will the debris fit, and how much will it weigh. Most jobs land on one of two containers.
The 15 yard roll-off fits one kitchen, one or two bathrooms, a basement finish or a flooring job. It holds about six pickup loads and includes 2 tons. A full 15 yard of mixed debris runs 3.1 to 3.6 tons, so keep heavy material like plaster and tile to part of the load, or budget for the difference.
The 20 yard dumpster rental is the one for additions, whole-floor gut jobs and sites with more than one trade working. It holds about eight pickup loads and includes 3 tons, a full ton more than the 15 for $100 more. Its 64-inch walls take bulky framing scrap and sheet goods without piling over the top.
Estimates assume standard 33-gallon trash bags and a full-size pickup bed loaded level with the sides. Actual capacity depends on the material and how it's loaded. Included tonnage applies no matter how full the dumpster looks, and weight over it is billed per ton.
No. Concrete, brick, block, asphalt and dirt can't go in any MAC Dumpsters container, in any size. A job that breaks up a slab, a walkway or a block wall needs a separate plan for that material. Keep it out of the load entirely.
Also keep out paint, hazardous materials and anything with freon, such as a refrigerator or a window air conditioner. Tires go in at $15 each, and non-freon appliances and e-waste at $35 each.
Light demolition debris is fine: drywall, framing, fixtures, cabinets and everything else from an interior tear-out. We rent the container; we don't do the demolition or the loading. The crew on site handles that.
A container on a private driveway or the job's own lot usually needs no permit in the counties we serve. A container on a public street or right-of-way does, and the contractor or owner gets it, not MAC. Who issues it depends on where the job is, and in Baltimore City the standard processing time is 15 days, so apply before the job starts. Our page on permit requirements by jurisdiction has the issuing office for each area.
Get the container on site the morning tear-out starts. Your 14 days begin on delivery day, so a container that lands a week early is burning rental time before the first cabinet comes out.
Load in the order the house comes apart, and keep it level with the top edge. An overfilled container may not be hauled until the extra comes off, because loose debris can fall onto the road. When it fills, text or call for a swap-out: we take the full one and leave an empty one in the same spot, at the rental price, with fresh tonnage.
Plan the last haul around the punch list. After day 14, each extra day is $25, which is often cheaper than a swap when only a little is left to toss.
Book online or call (410) 205-5330 with the address and where the container should sit. Order by noon for the best chance at same-day delivery, depending on availability. Our hook-lift truck typically needs about 50 feet of straight-line room, 12 to 14 feet overhead and 10 to 12 feet of width, so call if the site is tight.
We slide the container straight back into place. Your crew loads it. We weigh it at the landfill, bill any overage after the dump, and bring an empty when you call for a swap. We dispose of every load according to local and state regulations.
Partly. At MAC Dumpsters, the rental price includes a set weight: 2 tons on a 15 yard and 3 tons on a 20 yard. You only pay by weight past that, at $125 per ton, after the load is weighed at the landfill. A load that comes in one ton over adds $125 to the bill.
Construction rentals run $450 to $550 for the two sizes most jobs use, with delivery, pickup and 14 days in the price and no delivery fee. Contractors who rent often can call for special pricing and terms. Our guide to included tonnage and overage shows how weight adds up by material, and the full fee list is on our rates, tonnage and fees page.
Each swap-out costs the same as the rental and comes with a fresh 2 or 3 tons. A long job gets the same deal on its fifth container as on its first.
At $125 per ton, weighed and billed after the dump, overage is a number you can price into a job before it starts. Nothing else gets added beyond our published fees.
Our driver brings the first container and every swap after it. Once the site is known, there's no explaining the drop spot to someone new each time.
We deliver construction dumpsters to Baltimore City and across Baltimore, Harford and Anne Arundel counties, including Perry Hall, Timonium, Abingdon, Edgewood and Arnold. There's no delivery fee to any site in that area. Find your town on our service area page.
Yes, drywall can go in a MAC Dumpsters container. It's one of the most common things on a remodel. Drywall is heavy for its size, and wet drywall is heavier, so a load that's mostly drywall can pass the included tons before the container looks full.
Yes. Framing lumber, trim and boards with nails still in them are accepted as construction debris. Lay long pieces flat along the floor of the container so they don't stick up past the top edge.
Call or text for a swap-out. MAC Dumpsters takes the full container and drops an empty one in the same spot. A swap costs the same as the rental for that size and includes a fresh load of tonnage.

Yes, if it's light demolition debris like drywall, framing, cabinets and fixtures. Concrete, brick, block and asphalt can't go in. MAC Dumpsters rents and hauls the container; the demolition and loading are up to you or your crew.
