Bel Air is Harford County's seat, with the courthouse and Main Street at its center and 1950s and 1960s neighborhoods like Howard Park and Homestead Village close by. MAC Dumpsters sends a 15 yard at $450 for most remodels in those houses, and a 10 yard at $375 when the only paved spot is a short driveway. Both come with 14 days and no delivery fee. Bel Air is on our Harford County delivery list.
MAC Dumpsters, owned by Adam and Tara Graf. Adam runs operations and Tara handles the office, from our yard at 1112 Middle River Rd in Middle River, MD. Since 2023 our own hook-lift truck has brought 10, 15 and 20 yard roll-offs to Bel Air, the rest of Harford County, and Baltimore City and Baltimore and Anne Arundel counties. Google reviewers rate us 5.0.

Book onlineBook MAC Dumpsters a few days to a week before your Bel Air job starts, and earlier in spring. Order by noon for the best chance at same-day delivery, depending on availability, since we run one truck. Your 14 days start on delivery day, so time the drop for the week work begins in Homestead Village or Howard Park.
The online cart shows the delivery dates we have open. Pick one, tell us where the container goes, and text us when you're done.
The Harford County Courthouse anchors the historic district at the center of town, with older homes and rowhomes on the streets off Main Street. Lots are small here, and plenty of houses park on the street, so finding the paved spot comes first.
Howard Park is mostly ranchers from the 1950s on lots of about a fifth of an acre or less. Some have a carport and a short driveway, and some have street parking only. A kitchen or bath in one of these houses is a one-container job.
At the south end of town, Homestead Village is 1960s ranchers, split foyers and brick-front colonials on lots of about a third of an acre, on tree-lined streets a short walk from Main Street. Most have a full basement and a driveway, and many have a one-car garage that's been filling up for decades.
Around Rockfield Park and out past the Bel Air Bypass and MD-24, newer subdivisions have wider driveways and bigger lots. Many of those addresses are in Bel Air North or Bel Air South, outside town limits, where the town's placement rules don't apply.
The 15 yard leads in Bel Air because most jobs are a room or two in a house built in the 1950s or 1960s. The 10 yard is the pick when the paved spot is short. The 20 yard takes the house that's being emptied from basement to attic.
The 15 yard dumpster holds about six pickup loads with 2 tons included for $450. That's room for a Homestead Village kitchen and a hall bath in the same job, cabinets, tile, drywall and all. It's also the size our customers rent most.
The 10 yard roll-off is 12 feet long, the shortest container we carry. It fits a Howard Park driveway or a parking pad off Main Street, and it handles one room or a garage for $375 with 1.5 tons.
When a house near Main Street changes hands and everything goes, the 20 yard container holds about eight pickup loads with 3 tons for $550. If one fills, we switch it out at the same price with fresh tonnage.
Estimates assume standard 33-gallon trash bags and a full-size pickup bed loaded level with the sides. Actual capacity depends on the material and how it's loaded. Included tonnage applies no matter how full the dumpster looks, and weight over it is billed per ton.
Not inside Bel Air town limits, where town code keeps dumpsters off grass and other pervious surfaces, so MAC Dumpsters sets yours on a paved driveway, pad or lot. Our 10 yard is 12 feet long and 89 inches wide, a fit for most Howard Park driveways. In Bel Air North and Bel Air South, grass is fine.
Not sure whether your address is inside town limits? Call (410) 205-5330 before you book and we'll help you pick the right spot.
Seventy-year-old ranchers and sixty-year-old colonials are due for new kitchens and baths, and the debris is heavy: tile, plaster, old cabinets and cast-iron tubs. Our residential dumpster rental page covers loading a remodel so the heavy debris goes in first.
Homestead Village houses were built with full basements, and a lot of them are finished. Water from a heavy rain, an old carpet or a paneled rec room coming out all fill a container fast. Wet carpet and drywall weigh more than they look, so watch the included tons.
A roof tear-off on a Bel Air rancher or colonial is sized by the square. Our roofing dumpster page shows how many squares each size holds before overage.
When a house near the courthouse is cleared for a sale, the basement, the attic and the garage all go at once. Our estate cleanout guide explains how switch-outs work when one container isn't enough.
Concrete, brick, block, asphalt, dirt, paint, hazardous materials, freon appliances and household garbage stay out of every container.
Inside Bel Air town limits, town code does not allow a dumpster on grass or any other pervious surface. That rules out the lawn and the side yard, so plan on the driveway, a parking pad or a paved lot. The town's other rules are in the block just above the questions on this page.
In Howard Park and the blocks off Main Street, driveways are short and some houses have none. Measure the paved spot before you book, and put the 10 yard there if the 15 won't fit. Our placement and clearance guide shows what to check.
Outside town limits, we can set a container on any surface, including a lawn or a gravel pad. Keep it off soft ground after heavy rain and away from a septic tank if the house has one. If it ever needs to go on a county road, call us before you book.
MAC Dumpsters gives every Bel Air rental 14 days from delivery day, and each extra day after that is $25. Inside town limits, code also caps a dumpster on a residential lot at 30 days unless the Zoning Administrator extends it, so plan a long Main Street remodel to finish inside that window.
Text us when you're done, whatever day it is, and we'll schedule the pickup.
Tires are $15, mattresses $30, electronics and non-freon appliances $35, and overage is $125 per ton. You can price a whole Bel Air cleanout before the container arrives.
Adam and Tara answer the phone, and our own driver brings the container. When you text to say you're done, you're texting the company that owns the truck.
When a container fills in the middle of a remodel, a switch-out costs the same as the rental for that size and comes with its own included tonnage.
I highly recommend using MAC Dumpsters.

These rules apply inside Bel Air town limits only. Town code keeps temporary dumpsters off grass and any other pervious surface, and limits one to 30 days on a residential parcel, or in view of a public road on other property, unless the Zoning Administrator extends it. Putting one in a street or on a sidewalk takes the written consent of the Town Commissioners, with 15 feet of curb kept clear on each side of a fire hydrant. Bel Air North, Bel Air South and other addresses outside town limits follow county placement, and our dumpster permit guide has the details.
For a Bel Air remodel or cleanout that runs more than a day, renting from MAC Dumpsters usually is. A 15 yard costs $450 with 2 tons and 14 days, so you can clear a Homestead Village basement or kitchen at your own pace instead of hauling load after load yourself. For a few bags, regular trash pickup is enough.
Yes, MAC Dumpsters delivers roll-offs for kitchen renovations anywhere in Bel Air, and the 15 yard at $450 with 2 tons fits most kitchens in Howard Park and Homestead Village. Cabinets, countertops, drywall, flooring and fixtures all go in. The old refrigerator stays out, because appliances with freon aren't accepted in any container.
Yes, MAC Dumpsters delivers to Homestead Village, Howard Park and every other Bel Air neighborhood, with no delivery fee. Both are inside town limits, so the container has to sit on pavement, usually the driveway or a parking pad. Prices start at $375 for a 10 yard with 1.5 tons and 14 days.
Yes, MAC Dumpsters can set a container on the lawn at a Bel Air North address, because it sits outside town limits and the town's no-grass rule doesn't apply. Keep it off soft ground after heavy rain. For a whole-house or whole-yard job on a bigger lot, the 20 yard at $550 includes 3 tons.
Pick your size and delivery day online, and tell us which paved spot the container goes on. If you're not sure whether you're inside town limits, or the driveway looks short, call (410) 205-5330 and we'll sort it out before the truck rolls.
