Glen Burnie grew up along Crain and Ritchie highways, and much of it is post-war single-family houses with basements, mixed with newer townhomes and condos. MAC Dumpsters rents a 15 yard at $450 for most basement and house remodels here, and a 10 yard at $375 for a townhouse or condo move. Both come with 14 days and no delivery fee, the same as across the county line. Glen Burnie is part of our Anne Arundel and Baltimore-area coverage.
MAC Dumpsters, owned by Adam and Tara Graf. Our yard is at 1112 Middle River Rd in Middle River, MD, where Adam runs operations and Tara runs the office. Since 2023 our own truck has delivered 10, 15 and 20 yard roll-offs to Glen Burnie and across Anne Arundel, Baltimore and Harford counties and Baltimore City. Google reviewers rate us 5.0.

Book onlineMost Glen Burnie basement cleanouts fit a MAC Dumpsters 15 yard, which holds about six pickup loads with 2 tons included for $450. If the basement is finished and the walls, carpet and drop ceiling are coming out too, or the attic and garage go at the same time, the 20 yard at $550 gives you room and 3 tons.
A basement that's only storage, with no tear-out, often fits the 10 yard at $375. Our 15 vs 20 yard comparison helps if you're not sure.
Crain Highway opened in 1927 and became Glen Burnie's main street. The older blocks near it, around First Avenue Elementary (1899) and St. Alban's Episcopal Church (1904), hold some of the town's oldest houses.
Ritchie Highway followed in 1939, and after the war Harundale went up beside it as a development of about 1,200 homes. Harundale Mall, which opened there in 1958, was the first enclosed mall east of the Mississippi. The mall is gone, but the post-war houses around it, many with basements, are still the core of Glen Burnie's housing.
Point Pleasant, also called Margate, sits on the neck of land between Furnace Creek, Tanyard Cove and Marley Creek. Its western side is densely built with single-family homes, the southwest has bigger lots, and new houses are still going up on the Marley Creek waterfront.
Around Marley Station, which opened in 1987, and along the corridors to I-97 and MD-100, newer townhome and condo communities fill in between the older neighborhoods. Moves in and out of them are quick jobs with limited space.
The 15 yard leads in Glen Burnie because the post-war houses have basements and original kitchens and baths. The 10 yard leads for the townhomes and condos. The 20 yard takes the whole-house jobs.
A kitchen, bath or finished-basement tear-out in a Harundale-era house fits the 15 yard dumpster, with about six pickup loads and 2 tons for $450. It's the size we rent most.
A move out of a townhouse near Marley Station usually leaves a few rooms of furniture and boxes. The 10 yard container holds about four pickup loads with 1.5 tons for $375, and it's our shortest container at 12 feet.
When a long-held house is cleared for a sale, the 20 yard roll-off takes about eight pickup loads with 3 tons for $550.
Estimates assume standard 33-gallon trash bags and a full-size pickup bed loaded level with the sides. Actual capacity depends on the material and how it's loaded. Included tonnage applies no matter how full the dumpster looks, and weight over it is billed per ton.
Older finished basements come out as paneling, drop ceiling, carpet and old furniture. Storage basements come out as boxes and decades of odds and ends.
Original cabinets, counters and tile come out of Harundale-era houses when they're updated. Our house remodel dumpster page covers loading heavy debris.
Moves near Marley Station and the newer communities are usually a few pieces of furniture, a mattress and boxes. A 10 yard handles most, and a quick move qualifies for the 3DAY code.
Along Marley Creek and Furnace Creek, storms bring down limbs and can damage docks, decks and sheds. Wood decking, fencing, limbs and brush all go in. Our storm cleanup roll-off page covers what to rent after one.
One version of the 10-10-10 rule is to find 10 things to throw away, 10 to donate and 10 to put back where they belong, then repeat. It turns a big cleanout into short rounds. Whatever lands in the throw-away pile can go straight into a MAC Dumpsters roll-off parked in the driveway.
With 14 days on the rental, a few rounds each evening can clear a whole basement before pickup.
Most single-family houses in Glen Burnie have a driveway that fits any of our sizes, and we can set a container on any surface, so a side yard works too. Put it close to the basement door or garage you'll load from. If it has to go on a county road, check our dumpster permit guide page before you book.
Townhouse and condo communities often have rules about where a container can go, so ask the association first. Assigned parking spaces are usually the spot for a 10 yard. Our placement guide lists what to check.
Glen Burnie pays the same $375, $450 and $550 as our Baltimore County customers. There's no delivery fee or surcharge for crossing into Anne Arundel.
Your 14 days count from the day the container arrives, and each extra day is $25. You'll know your pickup deadline before the first box goes in.
Our smallest container is 12 feet long, so it fits where a townhouse community allows a car-sized spot, with 1.5 tons included.
Good service is hard to come by these days. Mac Dumpsters was right on time as promised and had asap exit once project was complete. A+ in my book.

Professional organizers usually charge by the hour, and rates vary by company and job size. MAC Dumpsters doesn't do the decluttering; we rent the container. If you or your family do the sorting, a 10 yard is $375 and a 15 yard is $450, each with 14 days.
Yes. We deliver to Point Pleasant, Harundale, Marley and every other Glen Burnie neighborhood at the same prices, with no delivery fee.
Often, yes, if your community allows it. A 10 yard is 12 feet long and 89 inches wide, close to the size of a parked car. Check with your association before booking.
