We're an owner-operated dumpster company in Middle River, MD, delivering 10, 15 and 20 yard roll-offs across Baltimore City and Baltimore, Harford and Anne Arundel counties. This guide walks through a rental in the order it happens, from booking to the day the truck hauls it away.

Who drives the truck to your address?
MAC Dumpsters does. We run one Ford F750 hook-lift truck with our own driver, never a subcontractor, out of our yard at 1112 Middle River Rd. Adam Graf runs operations and Tara Graf helps in the office, as they have since founding the company in 2023. We keep 12 containers in three sizes, and Google reviewers rate us 5.0.
What this delivery and pickup guide covers
This page explains how a MAC Dumpsters rental runs from start to finish. It covers booking, how the hook-lift truck sets a container down, same-day timing, your 14 days on site, swap-outs and how to ask for a pickup. It applies to all three of our sizes and every address we serve around Baltimore. Rates for swaps and extra days are on the pricing page.
How is a dumpster delivered?
A roll-off is delivered on a truck that sets it straight onto the ground. At MAC Dumpsters, our hook-lift truck backs up to your spot, tilts its arm and slides the container off the back into place. You pick the spot when you book, and there's no delivery fee anywhere we serve.

Booking online or by phone
Pick a size and a delivery date in our online cart, or call (410) 205-5330 and we'll book it with you. Tell us what's going in, where the container should sit and anything tight about the spot.
Choosing your delivery day
Pick the day you want to start loading. Your 14 days begin on delivery day, so there's no reason to take the container days before the work starts.
The drop-off
The driver backs in, lines up with your spot and sets the container down in a few minutes. The truck typically needs about 50 feet of straight-line room, 12 to 14 feet overhead and 10 to 12 feet of width. How much room the truck needs covers the space in detail.
Same-day dumpster delivery
Order by noon for the best chance at same-day delivery, depending on availability. We don't promise it, and here's why.
Why same-day depends on the schedule
MAC Dumpsters runs one truck and 12 containers. On a quiet day, a morning order can be on your driveway that afternoon. On a busy day, the truck is already booked, and the earliest slot may be the next morning.
Order by noon
The earlier you order, the better your odds. Book online before noon, or call (410) 205-5330 to hear what the schedule looks like today.
Days the truck runs
The truck doesn't run on Sundays. Our office is open Monday 8 to 4, Tuesday through Thursday 8 to 6, Friday 8 to 2 and Saturday 10 to 2.
Do I need to be home for dumpster delivery?
No, as long as the spot is clear and you've told us exactly where the container goes. When you book with MAC Dumpsters, describe the spot, then open gates and move cars before delivery day. If you want the container placed a certain way, being there for the few minutes it takes is the surest way.
Your 14 days on site
Every rental includes 14 calendar days, counted from delivery day. Load at your own pace inside that window.
How the days are counted
Day one is the day the container arrives, and every calendar day counts after that, weekends included. A container dropped on Monday the 1st reaches day 14 on Sunday the 14th.
Keeping it longer
Need more time? Extra days are $25 each after day 14. Tell us before the 14 days run out so the pickup date moves with you.
Short jobs and the 3DAY code
For a rental of 3 days or less, the 3DAY code takes $50 off. Because the truck doesn't run Sundays, a Friday drop-off with a Monday pickup still counts as 3 days. Short-term dumpster rental has the details.
How do I schedule a dumpster pickup?
Text or call MAC Dumpsters at (410) 205-5330 when you're done loading, and we'll put your pickup on the truck's schedule. You don't have to wait for day 14. Load level with the top of the container before you text, because an overfilled container may not be hauled until what's above the rim comes off.
Before the truck comes back
Keep the load level with the top of the container, and make sure nothing that isn't accepted is inside. Refrigerators, paint, hazardous materials, concrete, dirt and household garbage have to come out first. What goes in a dumpster has the full list.
After pickup
We haul the container to the landfill, where the load is weighed. If it's over the included tonnage, the overage is billed after the dump at $125 per ton. How tonnage works explains the math by size. We dispose of every load according to local and state regulations.
How swap-outs work
A swap trades your full container for an empty one on the same trip. It's how big cleanouts and jobs keep moving without two containers side by side.
Asking for a swap
Text or call when the container is full. We bring an empty one of the same size and take the full one away.
Same spot, fresh tonnage
The empty container lands in the same spot, with its own fresh tonnage. A swap costs the same as the rental for that size, and every rate is listed with rates, tonnage and fees.
What a customer said about delivery and pickup

0 complaints. Will use again.
Delivery, pickup and swap questions
Is it OK to tip the driver who drops off my dumpster?
Yes. Tipping the MAC Dumpsters driver is welcome but never expected, and it isn't built into any price. Every charge we make is on our published fee list, starting at $375 for a 10 yard with no delivery fee. If the drop-off or pickup went well, a tip is a kind way to say so.
Is there a delivery fee for dumpsters?
Not with MAC Dumpsters. Delivery and pickup are included in the rental price, $375 for a 10 yard, $450 for a 15 and $550 for a 20, anywhere we serve in Baltimore City and Baltimore, Harford and Anne Arundel counties. There's no trip, fuel or environmental surcharge either.
Does MAC Dumpsters deliver on weekends?
The MAC Dumpsters truck doesn't run on Sundays. Our office is open Saturday from 10 to 2, so call (410) 205-5330 to ask about a Saturday drop-off or pickup. Sundays still count as rental days, and a Friday drop with a Monday pickup counts as 3 days for the 3DAY deal.
Can I get a second dumpster while the first one is still here?
Yes. A second MAC Dumpsters container costs the same as the first, $375, $450 or $550 depending on size, with its own included tonnage. If your spot only holds one container, a swap-out usually works better, because the empty one lands where the full one sat.
What happens at pickup if the dumpster is overfilled?
An overfilled container may not be hauled until what's above the rim is removed, because loose debris can fall onto the road. MAC Dumpsters asks you to load level with the top of the container. Take off anything sticking up before you text for pickup, so the truck can haul it on the first trip.
